Problem
Tillvaxtverket had public-facing and internal products with inconsistent design, fragmented implementation, and brand guidelines that were not prepared for accessible digital services. Design and development were out of sync, so what was designed in Figma often did not match production.
02
Contribution
- Translated print-focused brand rules into a digital, WCAG-aware foundation.
- Built modular Figma libraries for foundations, icons, components, patterns, templates, and views.
- Ran weekly design system workshops and design reviews with around 15 UX designers.
- Audited and cleaned the Angular frontend, replacing outdated styles with a custom SCSS theme.
- Helped establish a frontend guild, adoption model, Storybook documentation, and a component request workflow.

Outcome
Kompass became more than a library: it created a shared product language, faster design production, less duplication, better accessibility, and a stronger bridge between design and development.
