01
Problem
Early learning apps can easily become visually noisy, overly commercial, or too complicated for young children to use independently. For Kidz needed a reusable product system that felt playful to children and trustworthy to parents.
02
Contribution
- Defined a shared product architecture for letters, words, numbers, shapes, animals, and future focused learning apps.
- Designed child-facing flows around swipe-based exploration, large letters, clear audio buttons, picture examples, tracing practice, short quizzes, and encouraging feedback.
- Built a reusable content pipeline for images, audio, gradients, metadata, language packs, and offline-friendly downloads.
- Created a bright tactile design language with warm paper surfaces, strong outlines, offset shadows, and balanced accents across coral, mint, blue, yellow, green, and orange.
03
Outcome
Letters for Kidz is the first live product in the For Kidz family, with English and Swedish content, offline-friendly learning, and a foundation designed to make future apps easier to launch without changing the core system every time.
