Problem
Stena Line wanted to move toward a cognitive ferry company vision. Nemo needed to support complex operational planning while replacing fragmented tools and inconsistent internal product patterns.
Contribution
- Led research with trade managers and trade optimizers, mapping user archetypes and operational needs.
- Designed flows for timetable planning, customer allotments, capacity, pricing, waiting lists, and issue handling.
- Used prototyping and backlog-ready problem/solution boards to connect design decisions with implementation work.
- Applied the emerging Lighthouse Design System to create a more unified dashboard experience.
Outcome
Nemo gave teams a clearer shared interface for operational decisions and helped establish patterns that later fed back into Stena Line design system work.
